Thursday afternoon the Philadelphia Eagles announced that single game tickets for the 2012 season will go on sale next Thursday, on June 21 at 10:00am. Fans will be able to get their tickets through the Ticketmaster website, through the Eagles website, or by calling Ticketmaster.
Despite the team not being as successful each season and into the playoffs as the team was during the early 2000's, single game tickets usually go extremely fast. Tickets likely will be all sold by 10:15am at the latest, so be sure to be on the phone or computer before 10:00 for your best shot at tickets.
Now that free agency and the draft have shaped up, one can now look at the schedule and see that the Eagles have a pretty good home schedule this season. The team will host Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens in September. In October, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh and the rest of the Detroit Lions will come to town, as well as the Atlanta Falcons which are led by Matt Ryan, Roddy White, and Julio Jones.
November brings the Carolina Panthers to Philadelphia, led by second-year quarterback Cam Newton. The Cincinnati Bengals will come to town, with New Jersey native Mohamed Sanu lining up at wide receiver for the team. Of course, the Eagles will also host their three division rivals throughout the season.
While the entire home schedule looks very promising three months before the season starts, if you could only attend one game which one would it be?
