The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off of a dramatic come from behind victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Bengals coming into Philly for a Thursday night game, the Eagles players won't have much time to recover. Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy have returned to practice after passing their imPACT test. Both of them still have to clear phase 5 to be cleared for a game, the Eagles are clearly taking their time in letting the concussions heal.
Injured safety Kurt Coleman is still struggling with his sternum bruise. The Eagles have said it would be a "stretch" for him to play. Most likely safety Colt Anderson will make his second straight start. Tight end Brent Celek suffered a concussion against the Bucs and has been ruled out for the Bengals game. Celek has already passed his imPACT test, but due to the game only being 5 days after the injury, he will not have time to be cleared.
Defensive lineman Mike Patterson will miss the Bengals game as well. Patterson is recovering from pneumonia. Nhamdi Asomugha, Jeremy Maclin, and Evan Mathis all have minor injuries, but are expected to play.
